Four-time M2O World Champion Annie Reickert reveals the official Event Artwork  

A visual interpretation born from years of crossing the legendary Kaiwi Channel.

 

 

Driven by her deep connection to the ocean, Annie’s creative direction will help shape the look and feel of this year’s event, bringing the spirit, power, and emotion of the channel into every layer of the championship experience.

As one of the sport’s most accomplished ocean athletes, Annie has spent years testing herself in the unpredictable waters between Moloka‘i and O‘ahu. Her artwork captures those experiences — the raw energy, shifting movement, breathtaking beauty, and spiritual weight of the Kaiwi Channel itself.

“I’ve been crossing Hawaiian channels since I was 14, and the ocean has shaped so much of who I am. Creating the art for this year’s race gave me space to reflect on years of Kaiwi Channel memories. Every dot in the piece holds a different moment: swells, bumps, gusts, falls, wins, losses, challenges, and rewards. Blending my passion for the ocean with my passion for art has been a journey I’ve really grown to love, and I’m grateful that Molokai 2 Oahu gave me the space to push that connection even further.”

More than a race graphic, the piece stands as a reflection of what the crossing represents to so many athletes: humility, challenge, connection, and transformation through the ocean.

More about Annie Reickert   Born and raised on Maui, Annie Reickert has emerged as one of the most accomplished and respected waterwomen of her generation. A four-time Molokai2Oahu World Champion and two-time Koa Kai Triple Crown Champion, Annie has built her reputation through elite performances across open-ocean paddling, foiling, big-wave surfing, and endurance channel crossings.
