Accommodations

  1. Island Air and Hawaiian Airlines fly to Molokai, you can purchase e-tickets from them online. Neither one can carry boards. Be sure to check with your escort boat and the info posted online under escort boats for mre information on board transport.
  2. Bring a pre-race breakfast, there are no restaurants near the Kalua Koi resort complex.
  3. The Kalua Koi Hotel will be closed. The race will be headquartered at the Kalua Koi Villas, 808 552 2721 or 800 367 5004. The best rates are available on the internet at www.castleresorts.com. If they are full try the Kenani Kai (808 552 2761). Friendly Isle Realty 808 553 3666 also handle rentals in the Kalua Koi area.
  4. Molokai Vacation Properties have rentals at all three locations near the start of the race, Kaluakoi Villas, Ke Nani Kai, and Paniolo Hale. You can book online with them at www.molokaivip.com or call at 800 367 2984.
  5. You can also camp at Papohaku State Park, which is about a mile south of the Kalua Koi area.
